Philadelphia<\/a>\u2019s wildest summer celebration is back\u2014and it\u2019s bigger, bolder, and more refreshing than ever. The Philadelphia Zoo<\/a> Summer Ale Festival 2026 returns on Saturday, July 18, bringing together more than 100 craft beverages, live music, local food trucks, and unforgettable animal encounters across the Zoo\u2019s 42-acre campus.<\/p>\n

This fan-favorite event offers a one-of-a-kind experience you won\u2019t find anywhere else in the region. Where else can you sip craft beer while spotting snow leopards, raise a glass near tigers, or toast alongside Andean bears? It\u2019s the perfect blend of a lively outdoor festival and a visit to one of Philadelphia\u2019s most iconic attractions.<\/p>\n

Guests can sample an impressive lineup of 100+ beverages, including craft beers, hard ciders, seltzers, meads, teas, spirits, and even non-alcoholic options. This year introduces 13 new vendors, with names like Bald Birds Brewing Company, Ship Bottom Brewery, Good Boy Vodka, Ironbound Cider, and NA Beer Club joining the mix. Whether you\u2019re a seasoned craft beverage enthusiast or just looking to try something new, there\u2019s something for every taste.<\/p>\n

The festival atmosphere is elevated with a dynamic live music lineup on the Impala Lawn Stage. Philly-based acts Echo Kid, Moonroof, and Nik Greeley and the Operators will keep the energy high throughout the evening, creating the perfect backdrop for exploring, sipping, and socializing.<\/p>\n

Of course, no great festival is complete without great food. More than a dozen local food trucks will be scattered across the Zoo, serving up crowd-pleasing bites. From barbecue and burritos to pasta, water ice, and sweet treats, the options are designed to satisfy every craving.<\/p>\n

The event runs from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. for VIP admission and 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. for general admission, with all taps closing at 9:30 p.m. Ticket options include early admission, general admission, non-drinker tickets, and new group pricing for parties of six or more. Each ticket includes Zoo access and a souvenir tasting cup (excluding non-drinker tickets).<\/p>\n

It\u2019s important to note that the Summer Ale Festival is a 21+ event, and tickets must be purchased in advance online<\/a>, as they will not be sold at the door. The event will take place rain or shine, and complimentary parking is available on-site.<\/p>\n
