Police in Philadelphia are planning to shed more light on two deadly shootings that happened along Hunting Park Avenue just six days apart. <\/p>\n

Man shot near baseball field<\/p>\n

The first shooting happened just after 10 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, according to the Philadelphia Police Department. <\/p>\n

When officers arrived to the scene near a baseball field along the 900 block of West Hunting Park Avenue, they found 45-year-old Martin Higgins suffering from several gunshot wounds<\/a> to his torso, police said. <\/p>\n

Higgins was unresponsive and was pronounced dead at the scene by medics at 10:41 p.m.<\/p>\n

Then, six days later on Friday, June 26, officers were called to the 1200 block of West Hunting Park Avenue where they found an adult man with a gunshot wound to his back<\/a>, according to the Philadelphia Police Department. <\/p>\n

Officers took him to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead around 11:29 p.m., officials explained. <\/p>\n

No arrests have been made yet in either of these shootings and investigators have not found a weapon in connection to these incidents. <\/p>\n
