READING, Pa. – Reading’s new fire chief just took the oath of office.<\/p>\n
Chief Robert Leonard was formally sworn in at the City Council Committee of the Whole Meeting at City Hall.<\/p>\n
The meeting started at 5 p.m. Monday.<\/p>\n
Leonard became Reading’s fire chief in March after working as an assistant fire chief in Prince George’s County, Maryland.<\/p>\n
