at Pittsburgh home<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">A contractor is dead after falling off a ladder in Pittsburgh\u2019s Shadyside neighborhood on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The incident happened around noon at a home on Kentucky Avenue.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">A Pittsburgh Public Safety spokesperson tells Channel 11 an elderly man working as a contractor fell about 20 feet off a ladder, hitting his head.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Medics took him to a
