Two people were apprehended, police said, after a chase involving the Pa. State Police ended in a crash in Philly’s Holmesburg section overnight.<\/p>\n
The incident happened at about 2 a.m., according to Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small, when a vehicle that was involved in a pursuit by officers from the Pennsylvania State Police crashed near the intersection of Marple and Jackson streets in Philly’s Holmesburg section. <\/p>\n
As seen early Wednesday, a vehicle flipped onto its roof as a result of the crash.<\/p>\n
Scott said no one was injured in this incident and two people were apprehended following the crash. <\/p>\n
However, Scott did not immediately know why the vehicle was being pursued by the Pa. State Police. <\/p>\n
Contacted Wednesday morning, Pa. State Police officials had no immediate comment on the incident.<\/p>\n
But, officials said, an investigation is ongoing. <\/p>\n
