N. WHITEHALL TWP., Pa – Lehigh County\u00a0Coroner Daniel Buglio has identified the motorcyclist who died after a crash on the\u00a0Pennsylvania Turnpike Tuesday.<\/p>\n
Kory A. Stokes, 39, of Foster Township in Luzerne County, was pronounced dead Tuesday shortly before 5:30 p.m. at a local hospital, Buglio said in a news release.<\/p>\n
Buglio said the cause of death is multiple traumatic injuries sustained in the crash, and the manner of death was ruled an accident.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Stokes was wearing a helmet,\u00a0Buglio said.<\/p>\n
Stokes\u00a0was driving a motorcycle when he was involved in a collision with a tractor-trailer around 4:25 p.m. on the northbound side of Interstate 476 in North Whitehall Township, according to the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office.<\/p>\n
The investigation remains active and ongoing. In addition to the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office & Forensic Center, the Pennsylvania State Police-Pocono Station is conducting the crash investigation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"N.
