(WOLF) \u2014 Motorists traveling through Lackawanna County should expect overnight lane restrictions on Interstate 81 for nearly two weeks as crews perform bridge maintenance.<\/p>\n<p>The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said lane restrictions will be in place on both the northbound and southbound lanes between the Dunmore interchange (Exit 188) and the Clarks Summit interchange (Exit 194).<\/p>\n<p>The restrictions will be in effect nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., beginning Wednesday night and continuing through Monday, July 13, weather permitting.<\/p>\n<p>PennDOT said the work involves applying epoxy to bridges along the interstate.<\/p>\n<p>Drivers are encouraged to slow down, remain alert in the work zone and allow extra travel time, as traffic delays are possible during the overnight hours.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"DUNMORE, LACKAWANNA CO.
