An 80-year-old Bern Township man was killed when a tree limb fell on him while he was cutting it, Berks County Coroner Matthew J. Stitzel said Wednesday.<\/p>\n
Donald P. Glass was pronounced dead at 5:53 p.m. Tuesday by a deputy coroner at the scene of the accident in the backyard of his residence in the 1000 block of Mahlon Drive.<\/p>\n
He died of blunt force trauma and traumatic asphyxiation, and the manner of death has been ruled accidental, Stitzel said.<\/p>\n
Emergency responders were called to the scene about 5 p.m.<\/p>\n
