{"id":23333,"date":"2025-11-03T15:00:36","date_gmt":"2025-11-03T15:00:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/23333\/"},"modified":"2025-11-03T15:00:36","modified_gmt":"2025-11-03T15:00:36","slug":"erie-police-searching-for-suspect-in-break-in-at-state-street-convenience-store-downtown","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/23333\/","title":{"rendered":"Erie police searching for suspect in break-in at State Street convenience store downtown"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Erie police are searching for a suspect in a break-in at a State Street convenience store in the city&#8217;s downtown Nov. 3.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The burglary was reported on Nov. 3 at 4:15 a.m. at Samir&#8217;s Convenience and Smoke Store, 1010 State St. Officers who responded to the store found the bottom portion of a front window to the store cut out, Erie police Deputy Chief Rick Lorah said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Police reviewed surveillance video from the store that showed a man wearing dark clothing and a face covering cutting out the window and entering the store with an object in his hand.
