READING, Pa. – To accommodate more residents during the Extreme Heat Warning, Reading\u2019s Schlegel Pool will now operate with two admission sessions on Thursday, July 2, and Friday, July 3.<\/p>\n
Mayor Eddie Mor\u00e1n has authorized free admission for City of Reading residents during the following sessions, according to the city:<\/p>\n
Session 1: Noon to 3 p.m.<\/p>\n
Session 2: 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.<\/p>\n
The city says the pool will be cleared from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. to allow staff to reset the facility before welcoming the second group of swimmers.<\/p>\n
