(WJET\/WFXP<\/a>) \u2014 The Erie Zoo is letting visitors experience the park after-hours throughout the month.<\/p>\n

Every Wednesday in July the Erie Zoo will extend its hours for Wild Wednesdays<\/a>, where visitors can enjoy an evening of entertainment and treats.<\/p>\n

The zoo will be open from 5 to 8 p.m. for movie screenings, weather permitting. Final admission for the evenings will be 7:15 p.m.<\/p>\n

Admission or an Erie Zoo Membership is required for entry to the zoo after-hours. Standard admission is $13.00 for adults and those over 13 years of age, $11.00 for seniors age 62 and older, $9.00 for children age 2-12 and free for children under 23 months of age.<\/p>\n

Erie Zoo\u2019s Mane Event raises funds for animal care program <\/a><\/p>\n

In addition to movie screenings, the zoo will have crafts and treats available while supplies last for Erie Zoo Members. Guests can also learn more about native animals through meet-and-greets and keeper talks.<\/p>\n

The first movie screening on July 1 was postponed due to a heat advisory. Activities planned for the day were placed indoors or in a shaded area, according to a statement from the Erie Zoo.<\/p>\n

July 8: Bee Movie<\/p>\n

Free bag of popcorn or popsicle for Erie Zoo Members, while supplies last<\/p>\n

July 15: Wall-E<\/p>\n

Free gardening giveaway for Erie Zoo Members, while supplies last<\/p>\n

July 22: The Lorax<\/p>\n

Free conservation craft for Erie Zoo Members, while supplies last<\/p>\n

July 29: Sing<\/p>\n

Free train ride for Erie Zoo Members<\/p>\n

Willow Ptarmigan spotted in Pennsylvania for the first time at Presque Isle <\/a><\/p>\n
