PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) \u2014 A West Philadelphia family is in shock after the row home next door suddenly collapsed Sunday morning.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe just heard a big boom. We thought it was thunder or firecrackers going on,\u201d said Tameka.<\/p>\n
She lives along 61st and Delancey streets and said around 6:30 a.m. her family noticed the vacant home next door had fallen into theirs \u2014 the entire rear portion was just a pile of rubble.<\/p>\n
No one was injured, and PGW said no gas lines were active at the time of the collapse, but Tameka\u2019s family is worried about how safe it is to stay in their home. <\/p>\n
The Department of Licenses and Inspections is assessing the damage.<\/p>\n
