READING, Pa. – A man convicted of shooting and killing his grandfather inside his Reading home will spend up to four decades in prison.<\/p>\n
Brandon Villasenor was sentenced last month to 17-40 years in prison after pleading guilty to 3rd degree murder.<\/p>\n
In April 2024, investigators determined Villasenor went to his grandfather’s Reading home in the 1300 block of N. 13th Street and shot him once in the head. 74-year-old Manuel Molina was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n
Authorities say officers found a 9mm caliber shell casing at the crime scene and later uncovered a 9mm caliber handgun in Villasenor’s apartment.<\/p>\n
