{"id":236362,"date":"2026-07-06T01:27:10","date_gmt":"2026-07-06T01:27:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/236362\/"},"modified":"2026-07-06T01:27:10","modified_gmt":"2026-07-06T01:27:10","slug":"teen-shot-inside-north-philadelphia-basement","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/236362\/","title":{"rendered":"Teen shot inside North Philadelphia basement"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) \u2014 A 16-year-old boy was shot twice in a North Philadelphia basement Saturday night.<\/p>\n<p>Philadelphia Police Inspector DF Pace said officers arrived at a house on Rockland Street near A Street in Feltonville around 10:15 p.m. <\/p>\n<p>He said the teenager was shot once in the leg and once in the upper shoulder, just above his heart. He was taken to the hospital and placed in stable condition.<\/p>\n<p>Pace said police believe the shooter is a 15-year-old boy who fled the scene. They also believe the victim was with a group of at least three other teens in the basement when the shooting happened.<\/p>\n<p>One spent shell casing was found at the scene.
