Here&#8217;s the schedule"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Philadelphia&#8217;s citywide cleaning program has completed more than 200,000 projects since it began last year, including removing trash from 50,000 blocks, repairing 12,500 potholes and clearing 32,500 vacant lots.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The city&#8217;s next <a data-original-title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.phila.gov\/media\/20251031161342\/CitywideCleaning2025_FallEdition_with_Zipcodes.pdf\" title=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">13-week cleaning cycle<\/a> began Monday in Northeast Philly and will next move to some of the River Wards, the Office of Clean and Green Initiatives said. In mid-December, crews will make their way through Northwest Philly. SEPTA stations and schools are cleaned, too.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Residents can <a data-original-title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/phila.us12.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=48732a6251c09f25e0086d47a&amp;id=93b6d41463&amp;e=dc98fdaae0\" title=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">track the progress<\/a> and make specific cleanup requests\u00a0<a data-original-title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/officeofcleanandgreen.org\/jointhefight\/\" style=\"font-size: 1.2em;\" title=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">online<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The cleanups coincide with the city&#8217;s fall leaf recycling program, which began Monday and ends Dec. 20. Bags of leaves can be dropped off at the city&#8217;s six<a data-original-title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.phila.gov\/services\/trash-recycling-city-upkeep\/find-a-sanitation-convenience-center-to-drop-off-trash-or-recycling\/\" style=\"font-size: 1.2em;\" title=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">\u00a0sanitation convenience centers<\/a>\u00a0from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Mondays through Saturdays. They also can be discarded at 13 drop-off centers open on\u00a0<a data-original-title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.phila.gov\/services\/trash-recycling-city-upkeep\/recycle-fall-leaves\/\" style=\"font-size: 1.2em;\" title=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">select Saturdays<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The citywide cleanup program, which debuted in the 2024 spring, aims to increase the frequency of regular cleanings in each neighborhood. Since it began, it has completed 208,872 projects the Office of Clean and Green Initiatives said.
