The 2026 MLB All-Star game is in Philadelphia this year. The city has several exciting events at both Citizens Bank Park and the Pennsylvania Convention Center while NBC10 will have special coverage leading up to the Midsummer Classic.<\/p>\n

HBCU Swingman Classic<\/a><\/p>\n The HBCU Swingman Classic celebrates the history and legacy of historically Black college and university (HBCU) baseball programs. The game gives 50 Division-1 HBCU baseball players the chance to showcase their talent and gain exposure to scouts, coaches and professional baseball organizations. The players were selected by a committee, including baseball legend Ken Griffey Jr., professional scouts and MLB representatives.<\/p>\n Phillies legend Jimmy Rollins will manage the game while Philadelphia native Dave Sims will call the game.
