{"id":23694,"date":"2025-11-03T22:09:08","date_gmt":"2025-11-03T22:09:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/23694\/"},"modified":"2025-11-03T22:09:08","modified_gmt":"2025-11-03T22:09:08","slug":"clinical-rehabilitation-counseling-celebrates-60-years-photo-gallery","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/23694\/","title":{"rendered":"Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling Celebrates 60 Years (Photo Gallery)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The University of Scranton&#8217;s graduate program in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scranton.edu\/academics\/pcps\/counseling\/programs\/rehabilitation\/index.shtml\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">clinical rehabilitation counseling<\/a> recently marked a milestone with the help of its alumni.<\/p>\n<p>The program hosted a 60-year anniversary celebration on Oct. 30, when numerous alumni and community members attended the event at the Kane Forum inside Weiss Hall.<\/p>\n<p>Two distinguished program alumni \u2014\u00a0Rob Froehlich,\u00a0an associate professor of counseling at George Washington University and staff member at George Washington\u2019s Center for Rehabilitation Counseling, Research and Education, and\u00a0Helen Froehlich, senior vice president of Utilization Management at Genex \u2014 presented,\u00a0\u201cAI \u2013 Where Do We Draw the Line? Ethics and Boundaries.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The program is now accepting applications for the fall of 2026.
