Fire up your weekends at Red Owl Tavern<\/a>, where the restaurant just steps from Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell<\/a> is bringing back its popular Smoked Out Saturdays BBQ series. Every Saturday through Sept. 5, guests can dig into a different smoked specialty crafted by the kitchen.<\/p>\n

This year’s menu gives classic barbecue a creative twist, pairing slow-smoked meats with bold flavors, regional influences and global inspiration. Expect a rotating selection of sandwiches, shareable plates and smokehouse favorites with unexpected spins, served beginning at 10:30 a.m. each Saturday until sold out.<\/p>\n

July 11<\/p>\n

Tri-Tip Sandwich \u2013 Slow-smoked tri-tip topped with raw sweet onion, tavern sauce, crispy onion straws and jalape\u00f1o queso.<\/p>\n

July 18<\/p>\n

Brisket Elote Fries \u2013 Crispy beef tallow fries loaded with smoked brisket, Mexican street corn, crema, cotija cheese and fresh lime.<\/p>\n

Chopped Brisket Sandwich \u2013 Smoked chopped brisket with sweet-heat barbecue sauce, crispy onion straws and fried jalape\u00f1os on a potato roll.<\/p>\n

Porchetta Sandwich \u2013 Herb- and fennel porchetta layered with sharp provolone, broccoli rabe and long-hot salsa verde on a seeded Italian roll.<\/p>\n

Turkey BLT \u2013 Smoked turkey breast, black pepper bacon, Jersey heirloom tomatoes, Bibb lettuce and herb mayo on toasted sourdough.<\/p>\n

Double-Fried Korean Chicken Wings \u2013 Crispy wings glazed in gochujang barbecue sauce and finished with sesame crunch, kimchi slaw and scallions.<\/p>\n

Brisket Crunchwrap \u2013 Smoked brisket, Hatch chile queso, beef tallow potatoes and pickled jalape\u00f1os wrapped in a grilled flour tortilla.<\/p>\n

Italian Beef \u2013 Thinly sliced smoked beef with hot giardiniera, provolone and beef jus on an Italian roll.<\/p>\n

Pork Belly Burnt Cubano \u2013 Mojo pork belly burnt ends with smoked ham, Swiss cheese, dill pickles and yellow mustard on pressed Cuban bread.<\/p>\n

Sept. 5<\/p>\n

Pitmaster Mixed Grill\u2013 A barbecue feast featuring smoked brisket, jalape\u00f1o-cheddar sausage, St. Louis ribs, pit beans, house pickles and white bread.<\/p>\n
