{"id":237746,"date":"2026-07-07T19:13:09","date_gmt":"2026-07-07T19:13:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/237746\/"},"modified":"2026-07-07T19:13:09","modified_gmt":"2026-07-07T19:13:09","slug":"adventure-aquarium-to-debut-shark-ray-summer-program","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/237746\/","title":{"rendered":"Adventure Aquarium To Debut &#8216;Shark &#038; Ray Summer&#8217; Program"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Adventure Aquarium in Camden, <a href=\"https:\/\/925xtu.com\/tag\/New Jersey\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">New Jersey<\/a>, is set to unveil \u201cShark &amp; Ray Summer.\u201d This program, running July 13 through Aug. 16, features immersive exhibits, educational talks, behind-the-scenes feedings, and family-friendly activities centered on sharks and rays.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cStingrays and sharks are close evolutionary cousins, sharing the same environment and a unique and ancient cartilaginous bond,\u201d said Alicia Longo, collections, conservation, and development coordinator, in a statement shared with the Cherry Hill Courier-Post. \u201cBy expanding our annual Shark Summer program to celebrate both, we are able to give guests a much more complete picture of how these fascinating creatures coexist and shape our oceans.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to aquarium officials, \u201cShark &amp; Ray Summer\u201d will feature seven new ways for families to learn and play using the sharks and rays as teaching tools:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll About Eagle Rays Talks\u201d\u201cSing-Along with Gill\u201d\u201cShark &amp; Ray Lab\u201d\u201cShark &amp; Ray Game Corner\u201d\u201cDance &#8216;n&#8217; Play with Gill\u201d\u201cShark &amp; Ray Puppet Show\u201d\u201cBubble Shark and Inner Tube Photo Ops\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Special limited-time Feed Tours are scheduled to give visitors a behind-the-scenes look at shark feeding. They will take place in Shark Realm (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 10 a.m.) and Ocean Realm (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 1 p.m.).<\/p>\n<p>Guests 21 and older can also enjoy a special aquarium experience, a first-ever \u201cSunset with the Sharks\u201d event on July 24.
