{"id":238469,"date":"2026-07-08T15:39:10","date_gmt":"2026-07-08T15:39:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/238469\/"},"modified":"2026-07-08T15:39:10","modified_gmt":"2026-07-08T15:39:10","slug":"flash-flooding-reported-in-bensalem-township","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/238469\/","title":{"rendered":"Flash Flooding Reported In Bensalem Township"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>      A storm on Monday morning brought flash flooding to the township, closing several roads and causing authorities to urge drivers to be safe.    <\/p>\n<p>\n      Jul 6, 2026 3:51 pm EDT | Updated Jul 6, 2026 3:54 pm EDT    <\/p>\n<p>BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA \u2014 Emergency crews are dealing with road closures due to flash flooding in the township from a storm on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Township officials said Monday morning that due to weather conditions, all emergency personnel have been deployed. <\/p>\n<p class=\"article-subscribe\"><a href=\"https:\/\/patch.com\/pennsylvania\/bensalem\/subscribe?utm_source=amp&amp;utm_campaign=subscribe&amp;utm_medium=mobile&amp;utm_term=subscribe_in_article\" class=\"article-subscribe-link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Subscribe<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/BensalemFireRescue?__cft__%5B0%5D=AZYgFJkKn0i4idMQj2lq4Z4fbCuiVsdLZx7GNTo9bNjZNgfMSV7vmB1Z_JSDA0cscwt33atO1RkCvyb5uTJdbaI97MytVtHj6lsdi-hvk_kiIl6fqzdzCsJl-hKlCFpXo0M40pX4OXKpoip5X6ezqlI4UEDN7bQoEIBNzAO_ftC5DMDw2VmLjfWqdNbqBln-YBc&amp;__tn__=-%5DK-R\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Bensalem Township Fire Rescue Department<\/a> was also alerting residents that the township received a significant amount of rainfall, and several roads are experiencing flooding. <\/p>\n<p>Drivers were urged not to go through flooded roadways, which includes Station Avenue.<\/p>\n<p>The Bensalem Emergency Management has been closely monitoring weather conditions and has activated additional First Responder resources to enhance public safety.<\/p>\n<p>Extra water rescue teams were deployed and are strategically staged in areas of the township that are known to experience flooding. <\/p>\n<p>These crews are prepared to respond quickly should emergency assistance be needed.<\/p>\n<p>If you encounter a flooded roadway, Turn Around, Don\u2019t Drown.
