{"id":238739,"date":"2026-07-08T21:26:07","date_gmt":"2026-07-08T21:26:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/238739\/"},"modified":"2026-07-08T21:26:07","modified_gmt":"2026-07-08T21:26:07","slug":"website-shows-real-time-delays-during-parkway-east-closure","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/238739\/","title":{"rendered":"Website shows real-time delays during Parkway East closure"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>PennDOT is adding a new tool to help drivers get around once the Parkway East closes on Friday night. <\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s a new Commercial Street Bridge page set up <a href=\"https:\/\/www.511pa.com\/map\/page\/CommercialStBridge#:Alerts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">online<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Click on the yellow Pittsburgh I-376 Closure Coming banner and the page will show you current travel times on the posted detours. <\/p>\n<p>PennDOT District 11 District Executive Jason Zang says they&#8217;re on the left side of your screen.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat you can do is you can click on to any of those and it will show you the three detours that we have been talking about, the local, the interstate and then, taking the Turnpike to Route 28,\u201d said Zang. \u201cIt highlights them on the map and it give you real-time travel time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>They&#8217;re color coded so you can see which option makes the most sense for your trip.
