ERIE COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) – The Sandusky Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) is investigating a three-vehicle fatal crash that occurred Wednesday morning. <\/p>\n
OSHP said the crash happened at 11:15 a.m. at the intersections of Huron Avery Road and Scheid Road in Milan Township. <\/p>\n
Preliminary investigation determined a Honda CRV operated by Karam Alanazeh, 31, of Burbank, was traveling eastbound on Scheid Road when it was struck by a Jeep Grand Cherokee. <\/p>\n
The Jeep was operated by Landon Selka, 18, of Norwalk, and he was traveling southbound on Huron Avery Road. <\/p>\n
Troopers said after the initial crash, the Honda was struck by a northbound Lincoln MKZ, operated by Roberto Quiroz, 38, of Sandusky, who was traveling northbound on Huron Avery Road. <\/p>\n
Alananzeh sustained serious injuries, OSHP said, and Quiroz sustained minor injuries and both were transported by ground ambulance to Firelands Regional Medical Center. <\/p>\n
Selka sustained minor injuries and declined treatment.<\/p>\n
OSHP was assisted at the scene by the Erie County Sheriff\u2019s Office, Huron Township Fire Department, Wilson\u2019s Towing and Recovery, Dunn Rite Towing and Auto and Perkins Towing.<\/p>\n
The crash remains under investigation and no charges have been filed at this time, OSHP said. <\/p>\n
