(AP Photo\/Charles Rex Arbogast)\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">PITTSBURGH \u2014 The Pirates have been dealt another injury blow as catcher\/first baseman Endy Rodr\u00edguez is going on the 10-day injured list (retroactive to July 6) with a left glute strain.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s been a breakout season for the 26-year-old backstop, who has been performing at a high level since he was promoted from Triple-A Indianapolis on May 12. In 35 games, Rodr\u00edguez owns a .260\/.388\/.470 batting line with six doubles, five home runs, 16 RBIs and a pair of stolen bases.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rodr\u00edguez joins shortstop Konnor Griffin, center fielder Oneil Cruz and first baseman Spencer Horwitz as a handful of notable players currently on the IL. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To take his place on the active roster, the Pirates will recall catcher\/first baseman Rafael Flores Jr. from Indianapolis. Flores appeared in two games for Pittsburgh when he was briefly up last month.
