{"id":239479,"date":"2026-07-09T16:52:10","date_gmt":"2026-07-09T16:52:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/239479\/"},"modified":"2026-07-09T16:52:10","modified_gmt":"2026-07-09T16:52:10","slug":"upper-darby-issues-parking-restrictions-as-series-begins-filming-nbc10-philadelphia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/239479\/","title":{"rendered":"Upper Darby issues parking restrictions as series begins filming \u2013 NBC10 Philadelphia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Upper Darby officials announced street parking restrictions starting Thursday as HBO&#8217;s &#8220;Task&#8221; begins filming across the Philadelphia region.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=vTamCNLh9nA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">In a video posted on YouTube,<\/a> Upper Darby Township&#8217;s Public Information Officer Rob Ellis said street parking will be temporarily restricted on select blocks to support equipment and production vehicles of an &#8220;award-winning series.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>While Upper Darby officials did not specifically name the series, multiple outlets have reported that HBO&#8217;s &#8220;Task,&#8221; starring Mark Ruffalo, has begun filming across the Philadelphia region. On Thursday, NBC10 saw the production crew on set in Manayunk.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/task-3.png\" loading=\"lazy\"   alt=\" \"\/><\/p>\n<p>According to Upper Darby officials, &#8220;no parking&#8221; zones will be indicated by traffic cones and signage. The show follows Ruffalo, an FBI agent, who heads a task force to apprehend criminals.<\/p>\n<p>According to the casting company, season two will follow Ruffalo\u2019s return as Agent Brandis who takes the helm of a new task force.
