What to KnowThe NBC10 First Alert Weather Team has issued a FIRST ALERT on Thursday, July 9, for the Philadelphia region, due to the chance of heavy rain and flash flooding.It’ll be steamy all day with high humidity helping to fuel showers and thunderstorms. High of 84\u00b0 this afternoon will feel like 90\u00b0 in Philadelphia.Damaging winds are also possible as some storms could turn severe.A hotter day on Friday with mostly cloudy skies and a chance of isolated strong storms, tapping into the humid conditions. The severe storm and flood threat is less significant for Friday afternoon, but we are closely monitoring the storm potential.<\/p>\n
