HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) \u2014 The Pennsylvania Department of Revenue announced that it has collected $3.5 billion in General Fund revenue in October 2025.<\/p>\n
According to the Department of Revenue Secretary Pat Browne, the Commonwealth collected $3.5 billion in General Fund revenue last month, and its fiscal year-to-date General Fund collections total $13.5 billion.<\/p>\n
Close<\/a><\/p>\n Thanks for signing up!<\/p>\n Watch for us in your inbox.<\/p>\n Subscribe Now<\/p>\n Below is a breakdown of the revenue from last month and the department\u2019s year-to-date collections:<\/p>\n Sales Tax receipts:<\/p>\n $1.3 billion in October 2025<\/p>\n YTD collections total $5.2 billion<\/p>\n Personal Income Tax:<\/p>\n $1.6 billion in October 2025<\/p>\n YTD collections total $5.7 billion<\/p>\n Corporation Tax revenue:<\/p>\n $160.7 million in October 2025<\/p>\n YTD total of $601.8 million<\/p>\n Inheritance Tax Revenue:<\/p>\n $157.3 million in October 2025<\/p>\n Fiscal-year total of $181.3 million<\/p>\n Realty Transfer Tax Revenue:<\/p>\n $69 million in October 2025<\/p>\n Fiscal-year total of $181.3 million<\/p>\n In addition to the above revenue streams, other General Fund tax revenue, including cigarette, malt beverage, liquor, and gaming taxes, totaled $149.5 million for the month. This brings the year-to-date total to $506.4 million.<\/p>\n Non-tax revenue totaled $33.6 million last month, bringing the year-to-date total to $178.6 million.<\/p>\n On top of the General Fund collections, the Motor License Fund received $250.2 million for the month, and the fiscal year-to-date collections total $1.1 billion.<\/p>\n According to the Department of Revenue, October collection data does not include a comparison because the official estimate for the 2025-26 fiscal year has not been certified.<\/p>\n
