ELKTON\u00a0\u2014 A Pennsylvania woman died in a Wednesday night head-on collision on Telegraph Road, Maryland State Police from the North East Barrack reported Thursday.<\/p>\n
Just before 6 p.m. Casey Almanza, 34, from Kirkwood, Pa., was traveling west\u00a0 on Telegraph Road when, for unknown reasons, a Nissan Frontier crossed the double-yellow line and struck Almanza’s Toyota Corolla near Buckwheat Run Road.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Almanza was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Frontier was not injured. The road was closed for several hours to investigate.<\/p>\n
The Maryland State Police Crash Team continues to investigate.
