Holy Redeemer defeated No. 7 seed Lakeland, 3-0 (25-6, 25-11, 25-7), beat No. 6 seed Western Wayne, 3-0 (25-20, 26-24, 25-18), and defeated No. 4 seed Lake-Lehman, 3-1 25-22, 22-25, 25-22, 25-21). Holy Redeemer defeated Selinsgrove in its only other match against a District 4 opponent this season. Troy defeated Selinsgrove, 3-0, late in the regular season.<\/p>\n<p>DISTRICT 2 CLASS 3A CHAMPIONSHIP<\/p>\n<p>2-1 Berwick (17-1) at 4-1 Athens (9-11)\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>When: Tuesday, 6 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Where: Athens High School.<\/p>\n<p>How they got here: Berwick beat No. 8 Valley View, 3-0 (25-8, 25-13, 25-13), beat No. 5 seed Dallas, 3-0 (25-15, 25-16, 25-16), and defeated No. 2 Abington Heights, 3-1 (20-25, 25-22, 25-19, 27-25). Berwick won the Wyoming Valley Conference title. Berwick swept Williamsport in its only match against a District 4 opponent this season. Athens had a record of 2-8 after 10 games this season and won its first District 4 championship in 20 years.
