WHITEHALL TWP., Pa. \u2013 A popular retail chain will soon bring its \u201camazing deals\u201d to a new location in Lehigh County.<\/p>\n

A location of dd\u2019s DISCOUNTS is slated to open on Sept. 25 at 2180 MacArthur Road in Whitehall Township, a corporate spokesperson told 69 News.<\/p>\n

The new store, dd\u2019s Discounts\u2019 first Lehigh Valley location, will occupy a renovated space in the Whitehall Square shopping center.<\/p>\n

The end unit previously housed a Staples location, which closed in January<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re looking forward to being a part of the Whitehall community,\u201d the spokesperson said.<\/p>\n

Dublin, California-based Ross Stores, Inc., with fiscal 2025 revenues of $22.8 billion, is the parent company of dd\u2019s DISCOUNTS.<\/p>\n

The first dd\u2019s DISCOUNTS store opened in 2004, and more than 360 dd\u2019s DISCOUNTS stores now operate in 23 states with \u201ca more moderately-priced assortment of first-quality, in-season apparel, accessories, footwear, and home fashions for the entire family at savings of 20% to 70% off moderate department and discount store regular prices every day,\u201d according to a corporate profile.<\/p>\n

Several dd\u2019s DISCOUNTS stores operate south of the Lehigh Valley in the Philadelphia metropolitan area.<\/p>\n

In the Whitehall Square, dd\u2019s DISCOUNTS will operate a few doors down from a location of its sister brand, Ross Dress for Less.<\/p>\n

The shopping center is home to a diverse mix of more than 15 tenants, including other popular chains such as Redner\u2019s Markets, Dollar Tree and Gabe\u2019s.<\/p>\n

New additions include Pickleball Kingdom<\/a> and KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot<\/a>.<\/p>\n
