The Eagles added wide receiver Danny Gray to the practice squad and released guard Sua Opeta on Monday.<\/p>\n
Gray spent last season on Philadelphia’s practice squad and was with the team in Training Camp before getting waived in late July. He dealt with a finger injury during camp.<\/p>\n
Gray started his collegiate career at Blinn, a junior college, and eventually transferred to SMU. After two seasons there, Gray was a third-round draft pick by the San Francisco 49ers in 2022. He appeared in 13 games as a rookie with one reception and was placed on Injured Reserve ahead of the 2023 season. He was waived by San Francisco in August of 2024.<\/p>\n
Opeta signed with the Eagles’ practice squad on October 22.
