EASTON, Pa. — Heritage Day festivities are already underway in Easton Friday night.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The celebration kicked off with the first ever Bachmann Block Party, bringing live music, food, and history together in the heart of downtown Easton.<\/p>\n
If Heritage Day is Easton’s biggest celebration of history, Friday night is the party before the party.<\/p>\n
“It’s beautiful out, the music is wonderful, they got the game on, you got drinks, what more could you need,” one person said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Bachmann Block Party transformed North Second Street into a celebration of Easton, with live music, food, drinks, and plenty of people getting a jump start on their weekend festivities.<\/p>\n
“I love it so much,” said Easton resident Rebecca Stewart.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Stewart has lived in Easton for 10 years. She says she came for the live music.<\/p>\n
“I love Old Lady. Love all the live music,” she said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
This is Heritage Day’s first block party ever, and people are enjoying it.<\/p>\n
“It’s just nice to be out when it’s not a million degrees and free music, can’t beat it,” said Emily Dings.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Carol Bear says they hope they do it next year.<\/p>\n
“I think that’s a very good thing. We need to get together and have fun and relax and be normal,” Bear said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
