Violations: Nonfood contact surfaces not cleaned at a frequency to preclude accumulation of dirt and soil.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022Ethan\u2019s Eats, 214 Lackawanna Ave., Olyphant. Most recent inspection: June 24. Inspection type: regular. Violations: Food employees observed touching rolls, a ready-to-eat food, with bare hands. Employees instructed to use gloves when handling ready-to-eat foods during this inspection. Food employee observed working with exposed foods with fingernail polish. Employee shall wear gloves when working with exposed foods. The employee donned gloves during this inspection. The deflector plate of the ice machine, a food contact surface, was observed to have a slight black residue and was not clean to sight and touch. Nonfood contact surfaces (fan guards in the walk-in cooler) not cleaned at a frequency to preclude accumulation of dust. Food facility has an employee who held a Certified Food Manager certificate; however, the certificate has expired and is no longer valid. The owner stated that he is scheduled to take the exam next week and will email a copy of his certificate to this inspector once it is received.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022Glenmaura National Golf Club, 100 Glenmaura National Blvd., Moosic. Violations: Outdoor storage area for refuse is not adequately sloped to drain, as evidenced by pooling water.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022Kentucky Fried Chicken, 531 Scranton\/Carbondale Highway, Eynon. Most recent inspection: July 1. Inspection type: regular. Violations: Floor in the kitchen area of the food facility is extremely dirty, dusty and in need of cleaning.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022Lackawanna State Park pool concession, 1839 N. Abington Road, North Abington Twp. Most recent inspection: June 17. Inspection type: regular. Violations: Paper towel dispenser empty at the hand wash sink in the kitchen area. Paper towels were placed at the sink during this inspection.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022Mill City Dairy Bar, 1622 SR 307 S, Dalton. Most recent inspection: June 17. Inspection type: regular. Violations: Temperature measuring devices for ensuring proper temperatures of equipment are not available or readily accessible in the bain-marie and under counter refrigerator in the main kitchen. Most recent inspection: July 1. Inspection type: regular. Violations: ROP\u2019s salmon was observed thawing under refrigeration in its packaging. Most recent inspection: June 25. Inspection type: regular. Violations: Hot water not provided at the handwashing station, hot water shutoff is broken and in need of repair. Food employee observed donning single-use gloves without a prior hand wash. The food facility does not maintain Food Employee Certification records as required. A food employee was observed washing their hands at the warewash sink rather than the designated handwash sink.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022Regal Room, 214 Lackawanna Ave., Olyphant. Inspection type: complaint. Violations: Hot water shut off at restroom handwash sink. The person in charge stated that handwash sink has been shut off due to leaking faucet. Violations: Food facility is using chlorine sanitizer at an extremely high concentration, not approved in the Code of Federal Regulations for food contact sanitizing at this level.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022The Barrel at Big Bass Lake, 120 Livingston, Gouldsboro. Inspection type: regular. Violations: The interior ceilings of the two microwave ovens, food-contact surfaces, were observed to have food residue and were not clean to sight and touch.
