ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Ed Pawlowski, Allentown’s former mayor, says he’s back in the city.<\/p>\n
He’s been away for a while, after serving time for federal charges.<\/p>\n
In a post on Facebook, Pawlowski said it’s a new beginning for him in Allentown. He thanked his followers for their support and said he looked forward to seeing many of them soon.<\/p>\n
Pawlowski was Allentown’s Mayor from 2006 until 2018.<\/p>\n
In October of that year, he was sentenced to 15 years in prison followed by three years of supervised release. He was convicted on dozens of charges including bribery, fraud and corruption.<\/p>\n
