READING, Pa. – Authorities are accusing a man of shooting and killing his brother in Reading Friday and injuring another man.<\/p>\n

Amaury Rosado-Laboy, 43, no current address, is charged with first-and-second-degree murder, aggravated assault, burglary, and possession of an instrument of crime, according to court paperwork.<\/p>\n

Berks County District Attorney John Adams and the Reading Police Department say Amaury Rosado-Laboy has been arrested and is in custody in Orange County, New York pending extradition.<\/p>\n

City police were sent to the 500 block of Lancaster Avenue just after 2 a.m. Friday for the report of a shooting, authorities say in court documents.<\/p>\n

Officers found a man who was shot in the chest; he died at the scene, city police said.<\/p>\n

The Berks County Coroner identified the man as 45-year-old Alex B. Rosado-Laboy.<\/a><\/p>\n

City police said\u00a0Amaury Rosado-Laboy and Alex B. Rosado-Laboy were brothers.<\/p>\n

Police also found another man who had been shot, court paperwork says. He was taken to a local hospital and was treated for his injuries.<\/p>\n

A woman told police she was sleeping in the apartment\u2019s rear bedroom when she woke up to hearing a gunshot and saw a flash as well as the shadow of a male running away, according to court documents.<\/p>\n

The other man who had been shot came into her bedroom and told her Amaury Rosado-Laboy had just shot him and Alex B. Rosado-Laboy, court documents say.<\/p>\n

Court paperwork says investigators noticed a window screen in a room in the apartment appeared to have been forced into the interior of apartment and bent.<\/p>\n

Authorities said the door to the bedroom of the other man who had been shot appeared to have been forced open.<\/p>\n

Video footage obtained from nearby homes showed a male going out of the front door of the apartment and fleeing west on Lancaster Avenue, according to court paperwork.<\/p>\n

Court documents say additional video footage showed a male walking west in the north alley behind the 600 block of Lancaster Avenue shortly after 2 a.m.<\/p>\n

A Berks County probation officer who saw this footage identified the man as Amaury Rosado-Laboy, who is currently on adult supervision with Berks County Adult Probation, according to court documents.<\/p>\n

Authorities previously said the shooting had not been believed to be a random act.<\/a><\/p>\n

An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
