{"id":242765,"date":"2026-07-14T02:04:16","date_gmt":"2026-07-14T02:04:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/242765\/"},"modified":"2026-07-14T02:04:16","modified_gmt":"2026-07-14T02:04:16","slug":"pittsburgh-supercomputing-center-awarded-10-million-from-nsf-university-times","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/242765\/","title":{"rendered":"Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center awarded $10 million from NSF | University Times"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n\tThe Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center, a joint project of the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University, has received <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nsf.gov\/awardsearch\/show-award?AWD_ID=2614022\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">a $10-million grant from the National Science Foundation<\/a> to build Bridges-3, the center\u2019s next flagship supercomputer.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tBridges-3 will offer an array of different types of computational nodes that allow users to leverage cutting-edge technologies in complex projects that require seamless integration of different types of computation.
