\n\tJudith Vollmer\u2019s seventh full-length book of poetry incudes character portraits, elegies, mortality, and her longstanding interest in Italian literature. The book focuses on Vollmer\u2019s nearly five-decades studies of the poems and novels of Cesare Pavese, and includes homages to landscapes northern Italy, southeast Poland, the Adirondack Mountains. and Western Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n
