A new Sheetz convenience store will offer free self-serve coffee and soda for its opening day in the Lehigh Valley.<\/p>\n
The free drink promotion will last all day Thursday at the new store at 1740 Main St. in Hellertown, a news release announced. It\u2019s the first-ever Sheetz for the borough and the fourth store in Northampton County. The store opens at 8 a.m.<\/p>\n
The same free drink promotion will occur during grand-opening celebrations from 9-11 a.m. on July 22, with additional giveaways such as $250 in gift cards and a $2,500 gift card. There will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10:45 a.m.<\/p>\n
Sheetz also will present a $2,500 donation each to Second Harvest Food Bank of Lehigh Valley and Northeast Pennsylvania as well as Special Olympics Pennsylvania.
