HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) \u2014 The Pennsylvania Department of Health (DOH) has launched a new measles dashboard to help keep Pennsylvanians informed about the cases and efforts to contain the spread.<\/p>\n
According to the DOH, the new online dashboard<\/a> will include case details on county, age, and hospitalizations.<\/p>\n Close<\/a><\/p>\n Thanks for signing up!<\/p>\n Watch for us in your inbox.<\/p>\n Subscribe Now<\/p>\n SIGN UP NOW<\/p>\n According to the new online dashboard, in 2026, Pennsylvania currently has 105 cases of measles across the following counties: Berks, Chester, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Montgomery, Northumberland, and York.<\/p>\n The DOH says this new dashboard will be updated on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons with the latest available data.<\/p>\n In addition to the number of cases per county, this dashboard will also include demographic data, hospitalization rate, and vaccination status of the cases.<\/p>\n “This new measles dashboard is part of the Shapiro Administration’s commitment to boost public access to information and provide transparency in our work to protect public health,” Secretary of Health Dr. Debra Bogen said. “We continue working tirelessly to contain the spread of this highly contagious virus among people who are not vaccinated. So far this year, we provided more than three times as many measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccinations in Lancaster County than we did in all of 2025.\u00a0Through our public health outreach, we are building trust and making connections with people and seeing increased confidence in the MMR vaccine’s ability to protect Pennsylvanians and their community.”<\/p>\n Per the DOH, they continue to host pop-up measles vaccine clinics, providing more than 600 doses to residents in Lancaster County since cases were first identified in late-April.<\/p>\n For comparison, the DOH only provided 179 measles vaccinations in Lancaster County for all of 2025.<\/p>\n The two largest age groups catching measles are Pennsylvanians ages 10-18 and 25-49.<\/p>\n Of the 105 total cases this year, 16 people had to be hospitalized, and 0% of those who got the measles were fully vaccinated.<\/p>\n For more information on measles, you can click here<\/a>.<\/p>\n This is a developing story.
