He got less than most anticipated initially, two years at $4.75 million per season with the New Jersey Devils according to Elliotte Friedman.<\/p>\n
Mantha agreed to a one-year deal with the Pens last year for $2.5 million and went out and scored a career-high 33 goals (7 on the power play) with 31 assists on a resurgent Pens team. He ended the regular season with seven goals in the last nine games, although he didn\u2019t score in the playoffs.<\/p>\n
