\n\t\u201cIt\u2019s Always Sunny in Philadelphia\u201d has set its Season 18 premiere date at FX<\/a>, FXX, and Hulu<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe hit comedy series will be back starting Aug. 17 at 9 p.m. ET across the two linear channels and streaming service, with the show streaming on Disney+ internationally. Unlike the previous three seasons, Season 18 will consist of 10 episodes rather than eight. <\/p>\n

\n\tSeason 18 continues the show\u2019s record-breaking streak as the longest-running live-action comedy series of all time, a record it set with its 15th season in 2021. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe official description for the new season states: <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cCharlie (Charlie Day), Mac (Rob Mac), Dennis (Glenn Howerton), Dee (Kaitlin Olson), and Frank (Danny DeVito) are wrapped up in salvaging inheritances from a dead woman, surviving tent encampments and the great inside-outside divide between the haves and have-nots, withstanding job loss at the hands of workplace automation, embracing a newfound appreciation for neurodivergence, questioning the fabric of society against conspiracy theories, and of course \u2014 the biggest elephant in the room \u2014 outlasting the public\u2019s pendulum swing against drinking. Not to mention battling nerds, LARPers, and a particularly petulant McPoyle clan at the Renaissance Faire or sportswashing their way back into the good graces of their community by sponsoring a Little League team. All the while trying to maintain order in their personal lives and at Paddy\u2019s, which have become increasingly lawless and erratic.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cGet ready for some of the series\u2019 most outrageous moments yet, with loads of star cameos, as well as nods to both iconic Philly traditions and other classic TV sitcoms. It\u2019s art imitating life imitating art. So, step right up to the plate and brace yourself for one hell of a swing.
