www.thehotline.org<\/a>\u00a0or texting LOVEIS to 22522.<\/p>\nJust after 6 p.m. on July 9, Upper Darby Police were dispatched to the home after receiving a report of a stabbing. According to the complaint, dispatchers were also told that a female suspect still had the knife.<\/p>\n
When police arrived, they found a woman screaming and standing outside of the home, the complaint says. She was then detained.<\/p>\n
As officers entered the home, they went upstairs and saw a man at the top of the steps holding a rag against the lower right side of his abdomen as he bled, officials said.<\/p>\n
The man then came downstairs and exited the home. He also identified the woman, who had been detained at the scene, as the person who stabbed him, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n
“She’s crazy. I told her to get the f— out of my life. She’s running around with a knife. I told her to get the f— out of here, and she started stabbing me,” the victim told officers.<\/p>\n
According to police, the man was transported to a hospital with a stab wound to his upper left chest and his lower right abdomen.<\/p>\n
When officers searched the apartment, they said they found a steak knife with a serrated silver blade and a black handle on the bed in the apartment’s only bedroom.<\/p>\n
According to the complaint, during his interview with detectives, the victim explained that Eustache had been living with him and he was trying to kick her out of the apartment when the argument escalated.<\/p>\n
The man told detectives that during the argument, Eustache had a knife in her hand. As he tried to take it away from her, they both fell to the ground, and that’s when he was stabbed, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n
After interviewing the victim, detectives spoke with the suspect.<\/p>\n
During questioning, the woman confirmed there had been an altercation with the victim, whom she identified as her boyfriend of eight years. She said that during the argument, she had been holding a knife while they were talking, police said.<\/p>\n
According to the complaint, at one point, she also said that she “poked” the victim.<\/p>\n
Based on the interviews and evidence, Eustache was charged with attempted murder, two counts of aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person and possession of an instrument of crime.<\/p>\n
According to court documents, Eustache was unable to post bail. As of July 15, she did not have an attorney listed in court records. Her preliminary hearing was set for July 23 at 9 a.m.<\/p>\n
