(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mytwintiers.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:WETM;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">WETM<\/a>) \u2014 A Pennsylvania parolee was sentenced to more time in state prison after officials said he committed a series of crimes over the span of three months shortly after being released from a Pennsylvania state prison.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Darrin James Stroud, 26, was sentenced to an overall minimum of 10 years and 3 months to a maximum of 22 years in state prison, followed by one year of probation for the crimes listed below, according to information from the Bradford County District Attorney\u2019s Office:<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Person not to possess, use, manufacture, sell, or transfer firearms (first-degree felony)<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Two counts of person not to possess, use, manufacture, sell, or transfer firearms (second-degree felony)<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Two counts of aggravated assault (second-degree felony)<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Burglary (second-degree felony)<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Driving under the influence of methamphetamine and fentanyl, second in ten years, tier III (first-degree misdemeanor)<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">False reports (first-degree misdemeanor)<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Stroud\u2019s charges stem from four cases filed between September and November of 2024, involving the above-listed crimes, the DA stated. As a result, Stroud\u2019s parole was revoked, and his prison time will likely be extended.
