CARLISLE, Pa. – President Trump is heading to the Keystone State Wednesday.<\/p>\n

He will stop at the U.S. Army War College near Carlisle, about 30 miles outside Harrisburg.<\/p>\n

Trump will be there to take part in a roundtable at the Pennsylvania Defense and Innovation Summit, hosted by Sen. Dave McCormick.<\/p>\n

Trump is expected to speak around 3:15 p.m.<\/p>\n

The summit also features senior military leaders, defense, technology, and finance executives. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and CIA Director John Ratcliffe will attend the event.<\/p>\n

Organizers say Pennsylvania has played a big role in supporting America’s defense, from industrial strength to technology.<\/p>\n

There will be a series of panel discussions throughout the day, including one with Gov. Josh Shapiro.<\/p>\n

Trump’s speech\u00a0Wednesday comes ahead of his address to the nation Thursday night.<\/a>\u00a0The address is expected to focus on elections.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the President’s stop in Carlisle comes as fighting continues in the Middle East.<\/p>\n

The U.S. resumed its blockade of the Strait of Hormuz Tuesday saying it’s in retaliation to Iran striking ships in the Strait of Hormuz.<\/p>\n

Iran’s threatened Wednesday to halt all energy exports from the Middle East over the blockade.<\/p>\n
