Marvin Edward “Big Marv” Outlaw was born on July 23, 1980, in Erie, Pennsylvania, to Eddie Outlaw Sr. and Irene Harris. On July 9, 2026, Marvin unexpectedly departed this life at the age of 45, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories and an unforgettable impact on everyone who knew and loved him.<\/p>\n
Affectionately nicknamed “Big Marv” by his mother, Marvin was a man who embraced life with confidence, laughter, and authenticity. He believed in living life on his own terms and never allowed the opinions of others to define who he was. His warm smile, infectious laugh, and outgoing personality brought joy to everyone he encountered. Marvin had a unique gift for storytelling\u2014he could tell a story so vividly that you felt like you were right there living it with him.<\/p>\n
Marvin was employed by Bayada Home Healthcare, where he dedicated himself to serving others. Outside of work, he truly enjoyed life. He had a passion for cars and loved keeping up with the latest fashion. Whether it was a fresh pair of shoes, a stylish hat, or the perfect outfit, Marvin always took pride in his appearance. He also enjoyed cooking, dancing, listening to music, and spending quality time with family and friends. His sense of humor, generosity, and ability to make people laugh are qualities that will forever be remembered.<\/p>\n
Although Marvin did not have a home church, he openly confessed his faith. He believed he was saved, believed in God, and looked forward to one day being in Heaven. His faith gave him hope, and those who loved him find comfort in that same hope today.<\/p>\n
Above all, Marvin loved his family. He treasured every moment spent with those closest to him and created memories that will live on for generations. He had a kind heart and was, without question, a true mama’s boy. There was nothing under the sun that he wouldn’t tell his mother. She was not only his mom but also his best friend.<\/p>\n
Marvin admired all of his brothers, but he held a special admiration for his big brother, Michael. He also shared a special bond with his favorite brother-in-law, Douglas Davis, Sr. Marvin cherished the friendships he built throughout his life and especially loved spending time with his close friends Levonne Rowan, Shelby Wiley, Saadiq Williams, Amos Keyes, and Jabar Keyes, as well as his favorite nephews, DeAndre’ & Douglas Davis .Jr.<\/p>\n
Marvin leaves to cherish his loving memory his mother, Irene Harris; his beloved children, Mar\u2019 Tyse Williams, Amauriae Wayne, and Marlin Outlaw; his loving siblings, Yolanda Davis (Douglas Sr.), Ramone Outlaw, Michael Outlaw (Danielle), Darlene Outlaw, Earlene Outlaw, Francine Outlaw, Jonathan Outlaw, and Irene Outlaw; along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever hold him close in their hearts.<\/p>\n
He was preceded in death by his father, Eddie Outlaw Sr.; his brother, Eddie B. Outlaw Jr.; his beloved niece, Desire’ Davis; his paternal grandparents, Otis Spencer and Annie Pearl Outlaw; and his maternal grandparents, Lucious Harris and Earnestine Harris-Wells.<\/p>\n
Although our hearts are filled with sorrow, we choose to celebrate Marvin’s life rather than dwell on his passing. He showed us the importance of living freely, loving deeply, laughing often, and making every moment count. His spirit, love, and unforgettable presence will remain with us always. Though he is no longer with us in body, his laughter will echo in our memories, his love will live on in our hearts, and his legacy will continue through everyone whose life he touched.<\/p>\n
