\t\t\tOBITUARY\t\t<\/p>\n
Thomas E. Clauss, 82, of Reading, formerly of Cetronia, passed away Monday, July 13, 2026, at Maidencreek Place, Berks County. He was the husband of the late Diane E. (Brown) Clauss. Born in Allentown, May 19, 1944, Thomas was son of the late George Francis and Margaret (Deutsche) Clauss. He graduated from Louis E. Dieruff High School and later worked as an equipment operator for PennDot for over 30 years before retiring in 2005 to care for Diane. Thomas loved playing pinochle and cribbage, traveled extensively, and enjoyed watching every Phillies game.<\/p>\n
\nSurvivors: Daughter, Heather E. Clauss, M.D., and her wife, Lindsay L. Long; brothers, Francis Clauss and his wife, Patricia, Gary Clauss and his wife, Bonnie; sister, Carol Saul and her husband, Charlie; longtime partner, Janice Buckwalter, and several nieces, nephews, and friends.<\/p>\n
\nService: A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Grandview Cemetery, 2735 Walbert Avenue, Allentown.
