(WBRE\/WYOU) \u2014 Air quality remains poor across the area, but we will see some improvements during the day before smoke returns tonight.<\/p>\n

Some of us will try to get some relief, especially the farther north and east you live. Granted, it will still be hazy, but the smoke should improve on the ground. Don’t get used to the break, as more wildfire smoke returns tonight with a hazy and smoky sky.<\/p>\n

As the smoke clears tomorrow, we introduce the threat for showers & storms. Some may become strong to severe.<\/p>\n

Saturday morning will start smoky and hazy before it starts to dissipate. A cold front will also bring in more clouds than sun with scattered showers and thunderstorms. It will become very muggy with highs near 80.<\/p>\n

If we get the wildfire smoke to clear along with any breaks of sun, there is the potential for some storms to become strong to severe. Main concerns would be damaging winds and downpours. A lower-end, secondary threat would be a weak tornado. Once again, this threat is conditional and is dependent on how much clearing of the smoke and sun we are to have.<\/p>\n

Be sure to stay tuned to the forecast throughout the day, especially with any outdoor plans.<\/p>\n

A shower may linger early Sunday before turning partly sunny. Highs near 80. Monday looks pleasant with a mix of clouds and sun. Highs in the lower 80s. Another threat for showers and storms comes on Tuesday and Wednesday. Highs in the lower 80s.<\/p>\n
