Chicken Salad Chick,\u00a0the nation’s only fast casual chicken salad restaurant concept,\u00a0announced today the opening of its first restaurant in The\u00a0Keystone\u00a0State, which will expand the brand’s footprint to 25\u00a0states. The new restaurant is\u00a0located\u00a0at 942 Airport Center Road in\u00a0the Airport\u00a0Center\u00a0Shopping Center. The local community is invited to celebrate this grand opening on\u00a0Tuesday,\u00a0August 4, when the first 100 guests in\u00a0line will win\u00a0free\u00a0chicken salad for a year*.\u202f<\/p>\n

During\u00a0the\u00a0grand opening week, guests can expect to experience the Southern hospitality Chicken Salad Chick is known for\u00a0while taking advantage of\u00a0various specials and giveaways. These include:<\/p>\n

Chicken Salad Chick of\u00a0Allentown\u00a0is owned and\u00a0operated\u00a0by couple and first-time franchise owners, Ernest and Amanda\u00a0Greenford.\u00a0Ernest is a retired\u00a0U.S.\u00a0Army Military Intelligence Pilot\u00a0and\u00a0Amanda has extensive experience in hotel management.\u00a0Together, they\u00a0hold\u00a0bachelor’s\u00a0degrees in computer science and food\u00a0science.\u00a0Originally from Alabama\u00a0where the brand originated, Amanda\u00a0was\u00a0obsessed with\u00a0Chicken Salad Chick’s\u00a0food.\u00a0She and her family were regulars at a location back home, and after moving to Pennsylvania and discovering there\u00a0wasn’t\u00a0a\u00a0restaurant\u00a0nearby, they knew they wanted to bring the experience\u00a0to family and friends in Allentown.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“Ernest and I\u00a0have been counting down the days until we could bring\u00a0Chicken Salad Chick\u00a0to\u00a0Pennsylvania,” said\u00a0Amanda\u00a0Greenford,\u00a0co-owner of\u00a0Chicken Salad Chick of\u00a0Allentown.\u00a0“While\u00a0Chicken Salad Chick is known for its incredible chicken salad, what truly sets\u00a0the brand\u00a0apart is its\u00a0hospitality. We want our guests\u00a0to\u00a0come for the\u00a0food but\u00a0keep coming back because\u00a0they feel genuinely welcomed and valued.\u00a0We\u00a0can’t\u00a0wait to open our doors\u00a0and become part of the Allentown\u00a0community in just a few weeks.”<\/p>\n

Chicken Salad Chick is known for its dozen-plus variety of made-from-scratch chicken salad flavors, fresh\u00a0sides, gourmet soups, signature sandwiches, and desserts. The new\u00a0Allentown\u00a0restaurant offers in-restaurant\u00a0dining,\u00a0take-out, third-party delivery, and catering options.\u00a0The location\u00a0is uniquely situated near Lehigh Valley Airport along Route 22, an economic lifeline and heavily traveled\u00a0route by both\u00a0commuters and shoppers.<\/p>\n
