MONROE – An out-of-state man wanted for murder was arrested on Saturday near a local shopping plaza.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Amaury Rosado-Laboy, 43, of Reading, Pa., was taken into custody near Walmart after the license plate of the car he allegedly stole was picked up on license plate recognition cameras, according to the Woodbury Police Department<\/a>.<\/p>\n Rosado-Laboy is accused of killing his older brother, Alex Rosado-Laboy, on July 10, and shooting an unnamed man who survived. After the shooting, which occurred in Pennsylvania, police allege Rosado-Laboy stole a car and fled to New York.<\/p>\n He is being held at the Orange County jail awaiting extradition back to Pennsylvania, where he faces charges of first- and second-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, aggravated assault, burglary, theft of a motor vehicle and possession of an instrument of crime.<\/p>\n The Harriman and Monroe police departments and the State Police assisted the Woodbury Police Department.<\/p>\n Subscribe<\/p>\n There’s more to Albany with the Times Union.
