{"id":247316,"date":"2026-07-19T19:58:06","date_gmt":"2026-07-19T19:58:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/247316\/"},"modified":"2026-07-19T19:58:06","modified_gmt":"2026-07-19T19:58:06","slug":"investigators-scranton-pair-found-with-drugs-guns-and-ammunition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/247316\/","title":{"rendered":"Investigators: Scranton pair found with drugs, guns and ammunition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Two Scranton men face multiple felony charges after authorities seized drugs and guns from a Linden Street apartment Thursday, according to the Lackawanna County district attorney\u2019s office.<\/p>\n<p>Law enforcement officials served a search warrant at 1701 Linden St., Apt. 6, as part of an ongoing investigation into illegal drug activity.<\/p>\n<p>Officers took Joseph De Jesus Martinez, 32, and Fruquan Arleek Roper, 44, into custody.<\/p>\n<p>During the search, investigators seized about 1.5 pounds of methamphetamine, 3.64 ounces of powder cocaine, 10 ounces of processed marijuana and 90 Suboxone strips.<\/p>\n<p>Officers also recovered two handguns, five loaded magazines, a large quantity of ammunition and drug paraphernalia, including a digital scale.
