The Lehigh Valley home market remained tight in June, resulting in a record high median price of $385,000, the Greater Lehigh Valley Realtors reported.<\/p>\n
That\u2019s a 4.1% increase from the previous high of $375,000 set in July 2025 and this past May.<\/p>\n
\u201cJune\u2019s numbers show that buyers remain engaged even as affordability and limited inventory continue to shape the market,\u201d said GLVR CEO Justin Porembo. \u201cPending sales rose 8% and new listings increased, but the supply of available homes remains exceptionally tight at just 1.4 months.<\/p>\n
\u201cThat imbalance continues to place upward pressure on prices and underscores the need for policies that support the creation of more housing at a range of price points,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Despite the higher prices, homes are sold quickly, sitting on the market an average of 19 days. Inventory was at 757, a 4.9% drop over the year, while the months supply of inventory of 1.4 months indicated a sellers\u2019 market.<\/p>\n
New listings were up 2.8% over the year to 853 and pending sales increased 8% to 792.<\/p>\n
The National Association of Realtors said the national median price was a record $429,300, a 1.3% increase over the year.
